COURSE OBJECTIVES. Contents of this course aim to explain contemporary theories and concepts in the field of ecotoxicological sciences as well as their basis. The objective of the course is to enable understanding of the process and methodology of diagnosing and quantification of the negative effects of the pollution on the ecosystem. Overview of ecological and toxicological effects of chemicals on structure and function of ecosystems, primarily at population, community and ecosystem levels of biological organization.

Master’s programs (such as the M.S. in Toxicology and Master’s of Environmental Toxicology) typically take two to three years to complete. Completion of the degree usually requires taking a combination of oral and written exams as well as a thesis research project.
